The Tyrant Ten: Week 2

The Tyrant Ten chooses ten Seniors from small schools, whose play deserves a closer look.

1) Karter Schult: Northern Iowa (FCS), DE, Senior

Last Game: Montana (20-14 Loss)

Karter Schult had another great game, he dominated Montana’s Offensive Line to the tune of 10 tackles, 5.5 TFL, 2 sacks and 1 FF. Montana still edged out UNI despite Karter’s heroics.

2) Victor Hudson: Edinboro (D2), OLB/DE, Senior

Last Game: Lockhaven (44-38 Win)

Edinboro improved to 2-0, after they downed Lockhaven. Victor was a big part of that win. He registered 12 total tackles (8.5 TFL) and 5 sacks. He is developing into a dynamic pass rusher.

3) Nick DeLuca: North Dakota State (FCS), MLB, Senior

Last Game: Eastern Washington (50-44 OT Win)

Nick missed part of week one with a shoulder injury, and some speculated whether or not he’d play this week against EWU. The answer was a resounding yes. He racked up 15 tackles and 1 interception, which he took back for a touchdown. NDSU wins a second overtime thriller.

4) Kaleb Nobles: West Florida (D2), QB, Senior

Last game: Missouri S&T (45-28 Win)

Nobles put up some dominating numbers against Missouri S&T, passing for career highs of 503 yards and six touchdowns. UWF is 2-0 and looks to continue its streak behind the arm of Nobles.

5) Najee Toomer: Dubuque (D3), WR, Senior

Last Game: Pacific (28-24 Win)

Najee makes our list again, two weeks in a row. He posted 8 receptions for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns. He continues to be a playmaker for Junior QB Conor Feckley, and Dubuque wins again.

6) Anthony Warrum: Illinois State (FCS), WR, Senior

Last Game: Northwestern (9-7 Win)

Warrum aided the Redbirds in their huge FBS upset of Northwestern. He posted 9 receptions for 116 yards, and continues to be weapon for this squad.

7) Jourdan Mcneill: East Texas Baptist (D3), RB, Senior

Last Game: Southwestern Assemblies of God (85-23 Win)

Mcneill was a big part of this week’s beat down as he piled up 159 yards and 3 touchdowns on the ground. Those were big numbers for only 16 attempts.

8) Chase Edmonds: Fordham (FCS), RB, Senior

Last Game: Elizabeth City State (83-21 Win)

Edmonds once again proved how dangerous he can be with the ball in his hands. On 16 attempts, he had 155 yards and a touchdown in the blow out. Edmonds is electric with the ball in his hands.

9) Ryan Radke: Thiel (D3), QB, Senior

Last Game: Saint Vincent College (32-30 Loss)

Radke had a great game, just barely falling short of the victory. He went 13-26 for 219 yards passing with 2 touchdowns, and added another 114 on the grouund and another touchdown. A dual threat guy to keep an eye on.

10) Jack Nelson: Winona State(D2), QB, Senior

Last Game: Minnesota Duluth (34-31 Loss)

Jack Nelson threw for 304  yards and 4 touchdowns in a losing effort this week. He still showed off his poise and arm strength, and looks to rebound and bring Winona State a win next week.
