1) North Dakota State: (3-0)
The Bison have a firm hold on the top spot through four weeks. With wins over Eastern Washington and FBS ranked Iowa, NDSU looks like the favorite to secure another FCS championship.
·Senior Linebacker Nick DeLuca has season ending shoulder surgery.
2) Eastern Washington: (3-1)
After a shootout in week 4 against NAU, Eastern Washington holds the number 2 spot. Gabrud looks like the real deal, and they are stacked with playmakers. The only loss for them so far, is North Dakota State.
3) Sam Houston State: (3-0)
Sam Houston continues to win behind there three headed monster at Running back, lead by Corey Avery. Jeremiah Briscoe has 1,035 passing yards and 9 touchdowns.
4) UT Chattanooga: (4-0)
The Mocs look tough as they’ve cruised to the 4-0 mark. Led by Quarterback Alejandro Bennifield, and Seniors Corey Levin and Keionta Davis. The running game is powered by a bruiser by the name of Derrick Craine.
5) Jacksonville State: (3-1)
After losing to LSU, the Gamecocks reeled off two wins, Including a win over Coastal Carolina. Senior Eli Jenkins, is a do it all dual threat QB, who drives this offense. Auburn transfer, Roc Thomas, has been looking solid also.
6) Richmond (3-1)
After dropping one to Stony Brook, Richmond looked like themselves again. Kyle Lauletta has been very good through four games, and the defense has looked good powered by DT Winston Craig and FS David Jones.
7) Cal Poly (3-1)
The Mustangs had a big win last week knocking off Montana, and sliding them into our top 10. As a matter of fact, there only defeat is an overtime loss to Nevada.
8) Montana (2-1)
Brady Gustafson and that fierce defense lead Montana to a big win over Northern Iowa, but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Cal Poly.
9) Northern Iowa (1-2)
Northern Iowa has had a tough break, losing close games to both Eastern Washington and Montana. Look for Northern Iowa to go on a tear, stacking some wins. DE Karter Schult has had one of the best 3 game starts in recent memory, with 12 TFL and 6.5 sacks through three games.
10) Youngstown State (2-1)
YSU has only lost to West Virginia this year, and are lead by their vicious defense. Seniors Derek Rivers, Avery Moss, and Leroy Alexander set the tone for this squad.
